When you create a buyer or promoter Account, we will collect your name, date of birth & email address. If you are a ticket buyer and place an order to purchase tickets from FlyByTickets, we securely collect debit card payment details which include card details, billing address and postcode. The reason we collect the above data This data is requires in order for us to take your payment and process your ticket/tickets. This information is also required to deliver your electronic tickets to you, or your guest, and to ensure your entry into the relevant event/events.What is done with your data?
A record of your ticket orders is held in our secure system. Card payment details are held separately. Our merchant partners are Stripe and Paypal). These details will not be shared with anyone else.Should you choose to subscribe to our mailing list we will store/send/share the following:
• Your email address in our e-marketing Mailchimp account• Send you on occasion, special offers, discounts, & information on ticket pre-sales.
• Share your name gender & email address with the promoter for the ticket/tickets you are buying.
Event Organisers & Promoters may use your data for marketing purposes.
• In some cases, we will share your name and email address with ticket entry scanning apps to facilitate your entry.
Pre-Registering
If you pre-register your interest in a specific event using our Pre-registration feature or by making use of ‘Notify me when tickets are available’, we will use your email address for marketing purposes; by providing your email address for pre-registration or ‘Notify me when tickets are available’, you are consenting to this and you have shown a legitimate interest in our products and services. You can Opt-out at any time.
Opting-out
Should you choose to Opt-out of receiving our marketing, you can do so at any time. Please email getintouch@flybytickets.com. We will aim to comply without delay, and within 30 days of your request.
